The Egyptian Cinderella The Egyptian Cinderella by Shirley Climo is the original Cinderella story. It's about a girl named Rhodopis and her magical story. Rhodopis is a household peasant who lives with 3 other mean girls. Rhodopis is the only different one because she has blonde hair, green eyes and very rosy cheeks. One day, while Rhodopis is out alone a hawk comes and takes Rhodopis' slipper and gives it to the pharaoh. Next, the pharaoh says he'll marry whoever fits the slipper. My connection to the story is like the mean girls that live with Rhodopis are like my brothers, and I'm her (boy version). Even though they're not that mean. I give this book 3.5 stars (out of 5)! And you will love this story if you like any Disney tales or Egyptian stories! -Jason
