Francesca's Book Review
The Egyptian Cinderella
By: Shirley Climo
The Egyptian Cinderella is about a girl named Rhodopis, who was taken from Greece and taken to Egypt to be a slave with three other Egyptian slaves. She doesn't fit in because she is from Greece. They call her Rhodopis because she had rosy cheeks. She had red/gold shoes and a hawk (Horus) took the shoe and brought them to the pharaoh. The pharaoh said whoever this shoe fits i shall marry. Read to find out more!!! I recommend this book to people who like Ancient Egypt, history and Cinderella!
