See the Difference With Ashley
This book is called The Egyptian Cinderella. In this book there is a girl named Rhodophis, she was taken from her home in Greece and sold to Egyptian people as a slave. In Egyptian Cinderella, Cinderellas name is Rhodophis. Rhodophis has three evil owners, that are always asking her to do everything. Her master loves her dancing and doesn't want her to be dancing barefoot, so he gives her golden slippers. While Rhodophis is in the garden a hawk (the sign of Horus) swoops by and picks up one slipper, the hawk then goes and drops the slipper on the pharaoh, Amasis lap. My favorite part of the book is when Rhodophis, who is a slave gets to be queen, but the evil stepsisters don't. I recommend this book to anyone who has seen Cinderella, so that they can see the true story behind Cinderella. -Ashley
